Taking advantage of the perspective and information network unique to staff living in local bases, we will always provide you with the latest information on "Every Summer Saipan" with all our might!

[Functions]

◆ Map search & navigation function

When your internet connection is secured, your current location will always be displayed on the map.

You can select the type of map, and you can view information on nearby restaurants, cafes, tourist spots, and more on the map to see directions.

Additionally, you can select "Display Pins" at will, and only categories that need to be displayed can be displayed on the map.

◆Shop & Tourist Information

If you select a facility you're interested in from the list listed by category, the pins and names will be displayed on the map. For those with more detailed details pages, the "Details" mark will be displayed in the top right corner of the page. Tap the name or "Details" to go to the various detailed information page. Some stores have special coupons for Pocket Saipan, so please tap "Coupon." It's fine as long as you can see this screen to the store staff when placing your order! The above can be used even when the communication line is off, so if you download it in Japan in advance, you can use it even if there is no communication on site in Saipan.

1 Those using the Overseas Unlimited Package Plan

You can use the app under a 3G line with the same settings as used in Japan. If the location information acquisition and GPS function is on, your current location will always be displayed on the map.

2 People who have rented portable WiFi devices such as Global WiFi

Set Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Data Communication and Data Roaming to Off. This will turn off mobile data communication and limit all communications to WiFi. Also, turn "Airplane mode" off at this time. For more information, please also check the manual for your rental WiFi device.

3 If you are not listed above, always use Airplane mode.

Although it is possible to use the GPS function, high-definition tracking in real time is not possible, the location information includes an error of up to 500m, so the navigation system cannot fully utilize the app's functions, but it is equipped with an illustrated map that can be used offline.

This app is free. There is no charge for viewing each information (communications fees required).

[Caution]

When you download this app for the first time, content data including images is sent from the server, so it takes up to 10 minutes even in a WiFi environment. Therefore, we recommend downloading in good line environments such as WiFi or LTE. Note that only the latest data difference will be sent when the second or later starts up.
